SEA KAYAKING & CANOEING

Powell River is surrounded by beautiful lakes and ocean perfect for paddling. The kayaking and canoeing program at Camber College gives students the opportunity to experience the beauty of British Columbia's waters first hand. 

Students who take our kayaking and canoeing program will:

  • learn safety and emergency skills
  • learn vocabulary and language associated with kayaking and canoeing, including equipment names
  • take lessons to learn the skills of kayaking and canoeing
  • take several kayaking and canoeing trips, including one (for the two-week program) or two (for the four-week program) overnight trips
